Ingredients

    20 oz Jennie-O Extra Lean Ground Turkey
    1.5 Cup Yellow Onion, Chopped
    1 large Red Bell Pepper (Peppers, sweet, red, raw)
    2 Cup Mushrooms, fresh sliced
    3 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
    5 Pats Butter, unsalted, 5 pat (1" sq, 1/3" high)
    1 tbsp Garlic powder
    1 tbsp Curry powder
    1 tbsp Garam Masala
    2 tsp Lawry's Seasoned Salt
    2 Cup White Rice, long grain, cooked
    1 Cup Water

Tips

I slice my mushrooms SUPER quickly with an egg slicer. :D We eat mushrooms almost ever night... at least 5 nights a week and this is a HUGE time saver.


Directions

On high, heat butter and olive oil in wok and add onion, red pepper and mushrooms. Saute until tender then add spices and stir to mix.

Add ground turkey and continue to cook on medium high, stirring all the time. Add water as needed.

Once turkey is done or almost done, add rice and the rest of the water. I turn off the heat and let it sit with cover on for 5 minutes or so to infuse.
