Introduction

Doesn't melt as fast as the pure heavy cream ones, and sweeter without the fermented dairy (sour cream, yogurt, creme fraiche). But higher carbs!! Doesn't melt as fast as the pure heavy cream ones, and sweeter without the fermented dairy (sour cream, yogurt, creme fraiche). But higher carbs!!

Ingredients

    Egg Yolk, 4 large
    Half and Half Cream, 1.5 cup
    Heavy Whipping Cream, 3.25 cup
    Erythritol 1/8 cup
    Stevia Extract, 0.5 tsp
    Vanilla Extract, 1 tsp
    Almond Extract, .5 tsp

Directions

Use half & half to make thin custard with egg yolks in double boiler, over simmering water. When thickened to coat spoon, stir in erythritol, then cool over ice. Add stevia and extracts. Add cream. Chill until ready to freeze.
Freeze - about 45 minutes in our maker tonight.
10 servings - little and rich!
