Introduction

I eat this muesli every morning before training and competitions (I am an elite long-distance triathlete). I eat this muesli every morning before training and competitions (I am an elite long-distance triathlete).

Ingredients

    50g rolled oats
    1 teaspoon poppy seeds
    1 teaspoon sesame seeds
    1 tablespoon activated linseed (flaxseed)
    2 tablespoon chia seeds
    15g dried cranberries
    10g goji berries
    10g pepitas (pumpkin seeds)
    1/2 cup water
    1/2 cup apple juice (or water)

Tips

Soaking the linseed overnight enhances their digestibility.


Directions

Soak oats, chia seeds and linseeds in 1/2 cup water for 5 minutes.
Add rest of ingredients and any seasonal fruit for topping.
Pour either juice or rest of the water.
Enjoy a great start to the day!
