    Ripe or overripe bananas

Tips

Take out of freezer a couple of minutes in advance to slightly thaw; makes it easier to break apart that way. Good to use in place of ice and for banana flavor in smoothies.


Directions

As soon as you realize your bananas will be too ripe bt tomorrow, peel them all and get rid of the strips of membrane. Cut away any rotten spots. Slice into 1/2" pieces and put into a freezer ziplock. Freeze and enjoy when you're in the mood for a brain chill. It gives the same after-feeling as ice cream.
