Number of Servings: 48

Ingredients

    1 to 1 1/2 pounds of unsalted assorted nuts (e.g. cashews, brazil nuts, walnuts, pecans, hazelnuts, peeled peanuts, almonds, etc)
    2 tablespoons coarsely chopped fresh rosemary
    1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
    3 teaspoons brown sugar
    1 teaspoons kosher salt (or less)
    1 tablespoon butter, melted

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Toss the nuts in a large bowl to combine and spread them out on a cookie sheet. Toast in the oven until they become light golden brown, about 10 minutes.

In the large bowl, combine the rosemary, cayenne pepper, brown sugar and melted butter.


Thoroughly toss the warm toasted nuts in the large bowl with the spiced butter and serve warm.

Makes 24 - 48 servings (1/2 to 1 oz each)

Use either raw or dry roasted unsalted nuts

    OMG I've had this before and couldn't get hold of the recipe. I think this is it! Dried cranberries and pine nuts were also added to the mix. I absolutely loved it! - 1/18/08

    Incredible!
    I used the olive oil and since someone had given me several cans of mixed salted nuts I did omit the salt. Awesome recipe and it was a big hit at a party too! - 1/12/08

    This recipe is very similar to one I make. Try substituting olive oil for the butter and add some thyme. These nuts are awesome! - 12/29/07
