Introduction

Ingredients

1lb Penne Pasta
9 Round Sausage Patties
2Tbsp. Olive Oil
1Tbsp. Butter
3 Cloves Garlic (chopped)
2 Tbsp. Flour
1 Cup Chicken Broth
1 Cup Heavey Cream
2 1/2 Cups Cheese (colby/cheddar)
1 Can Diced Tomatoes
1/2 Parmesan Cheese
Directions
Heat a large pot of water to boil. Salt water and cook pasta to al-dente, about 8 minutes. Drain past and set aside.
In a non-stick skillet brown sausage, drain on paper towels and then cut into bite size pieces.
Return pan to heat and add olive oil, butter, and garlic. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Saute for 3 minutes.
Preheat broiler to high.
To Garlic mixture add flour and stir. Cook 2 minutes. Whisk in Broth and then stir in cream.
Bring to a bubble, then stir in 2 cups of cheese. When cheese has melted add tomatoes, bring to bubble again and then remove from heat.
Combine Cheese sauce with pasta and sausage. Transfer to baking dish. top with remaining 1/2 cup cheese and sprinkle with parmesan cheese on top.
PLace under broiler until golden brown.
Enjoy.
