Ingredients

    1 cup plain flour
    1 cup rolled oats
    1 cup brown sugar
    1 cup desicated coconut
    125g butter
    2 tbs golden syrup
    1 tbs bicarb soda

Directions

in a large mixing bowl combine flour, oats, sugar & coconut

in a saucepan heat butter & golden syrup, slowly add bicarb, add to dry mix

combine

roll into balls, and place on greased/lined baking tays 5cm apart - flatten slightly with a fork

throw in a moderate oven until golden brown

cool on a rack

serve & enjoy!

    This is a better recipe than the one I usually make. Easier to measure too with mainly 1 cup ingredients. There is something special about Anzac Biscuits. - 12/2/10
