So quick and easy to make, I used to buy the Special K bars, now I make them and save time, money and gas! The home made version only has about 12 more calories and tastes better. Ingredients

3/4 cup corn syrup
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/3 cup low fat peanut butter
5 1/2 cups kellogg Special K cereal
cooking spray for pan
Directions
Makes 20 bars
1. Measure corn syrup and brown sugar into large saucepan.
2. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sugar is dissolved and mixture is bubbly.
3. Remove from heat.
4. Stir in peanut butter.
5. Add cereal
6. Stir until well coated.
7. With back of spoon, press mixture evenly and firmly into 13X9 pan coated with cooking spray.
8. Let stand until cool.
9. Cut into bars.
(You can even melt a few semisweet chocolate chips and drizzle over top)
