Ingredients

    1 lb. ground beef
    2/3 cup brown sugar
    4 T. cornstarch
    1/3 cup cider vinegar
    6 T. soy sauce
    1 can chop suey vegetables
    1 can pineapple chunks

Directions

Drain pineapple, reserving juice. Drain and rinse chop suey vegetables; set aside. Cook and stir ground beef in large pan until beef is thoroughly cooked. In a medium bowl stir together brown sugar, cornstarch, vinegar, and soy sauce. Add enough water to reserved pineapple juice to make 2 cups. Stir into sugar mixture. Stir into beef; cook, stirring constantly, until thickened. Stir in pineapple and vegetables; cook until just heated through.
