Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

4 lbs Ground Pork (with fat in it)
    2 Onions finely chopped
    4 cups of water
    1 teaspoon ground cloves
    3/4 teaspoon of ground nutmeg
    salt & pepper

Tips

Use a masher while cooking to ensure it is fine grained. One of my aunt's used to use a little All Spice.

Great on English Muffins in the morning, as a sandwich or on crackers.

Directions

Mix all the ingredients together minus the salt & pepper. Heat on high till the mixture begins to boil. Turn down the heat and cover. Let simmer for 2 hours. Check to make sure the water has not boiled off, if so add more. Salt & Pepper to taste.

Once completed put in the refridgerator overnight and let gel. The next day either remove the fat layer on top or stir it into the mixture for easier spreading.

Serving Size: Makes about 6 cups of spread
