Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1 head lettuce
1 pound hamburger, browned and drained
1 bag (2 cups) shredded cheddar cheese
1 can slice black olives, drained
    2 or 3 tomatoes, chopped
    1 bag Fritos
    1 cup mayo
    1/2 cup medium salsa

Directions

Dressing: mix the mayo and salsa.

In huge bowl, tear or cut lettuce. Add the remaining ingredients, then the
dressing. Stir well. Enjoy!

Tip if waiting to eat it:
Don't put the tomatoes, dressing, or Fritos into the lettuce until just before ready to eat, as they'll either make the salad soggy or get soggy themselves. But you can cook and chop the rest and have it all together, just waiting to add the last few items.

Makes 12 2-cup servings.

    Good
I used shredded chicken instead of ground beef, and Miracle whip instead of mayo. I left the chips out to be put on individual salads. The kids, hubby, and I loved it. We will make this again. - 5/15/08
