Introduction

Just conjured this up one day after I came back from walking the dog with a bag full of freshly picked wild blackberries. Turned out great and I ended up pouring the sauce over good quality sausages, and ate for lunch with a side of boiled baby potatoes. Delish! Ingredients

    680 grams Blackberries, fresh
    1 cup Honey
    1/2 cup water

Directions

Place washed blackberries and water in a medium size pot and bring to a low level boil. Simmer uncovered for around 15 minutes, until fruit has broken down (but is still a little lumpy). Turn off heat and stir through the honey. And guess what? You're done!

Serving Size: Makes 20 serves of approx. 1/3 cup each
