Number of Servings: 20

Ingredients

    2 cup Milk, 3.25%
    2 cup Granulated Sugar
    1.5 tsp Salt
    6 large Egg Yolk, slightly beaten
    4 cup, fluid (yields 2 cups whip Heavy Whipping Cream
    2 cup Half and Half Cream
    1 tbsp Vanilla Extract

Tips

Does not raise my blood glucose (sugar) much


Directions

Scald milk until bubbles form around edge of pan. Remove from heat.
Add sugar and salt. Stir until dissolved.
Add some hot liquid to eggs to temper them.
Add eggs to hot liquid; re-heat for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat.
Add remaining ingredients.
Chill until ready to churn
