Ingredients

    3 ounces Chicken Breast (cooked), no skin, roasted
    2 tsp Tony chachere's Instant Roux Mix (by NELLABILLEAUD)
    1 serving Aidell's Andouille Sausage (by TRISH74)
    .5 cup, strips Green Peppers (bell peppers)
    .5 cup, chopped Onions, raw
    0.25 cup slices Okra, frozen, cooked
    1 clove Garlic
    1 tsp Pepper, red or cayenne

Tips

Longer simmering yields better taste. Cajun gumbo always tasted better after refrigeration.


Directions

Follow instructions for Roux on label. Add meat, then veggies. After boiling for an 30 minutes, set to medium for two hours, stirring occasionally. Then simmer until ready to eat.
