Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions, raw
    1 clove Garlic
    1 medium Carrots, raw
    500 grams Ground beef
    0.5 cup Tomato Paste
    1 can Canned Tomatoes
1 serving Lamb Oxo cube (by NEKEL16)
    1 tsp Rosemary, dried
    1 tsp Oregano, ground
2 tsp Butter - Ghee (by DOTSLADY)
    1 grams Bay Leaf

Tips

Add some Basil leaves as a garnish to serve, and freshly grated parmesan.

Directions

Chop up the onion and the garlic very finely. Grate the carrot. Heat a large pan and add the ghee, then fry the onion, garlic and carrot until soft. Add the mince, and brown. Turn down the heat a bit and add the tomato paste and stir through, and add the oxo cube - Lamb is the nicest, but any will do. Add the herbs and bay leaves, and the canned tomatoes, and some filtered water to make it a bit wet, then put it on a back burner to simmer on a low heat for at least half an hour, stirring occasionally. It should melt into a rich gravy after this time. Cook up any side dishes if required to serve.
