Introduction

Ingredients

    4 cups Milk
    1 tsp Vanilla Extract
    1/2 cup long grain white rice
    1/4 cup Granulated Sugar
    3 tsp Granulated Sugar
    2 cup frozen Strawberries, thawed, unsweetened and mashed
    1 tbsp Cornstarch

Directions

Put milk and rice in a saucepan and simmer over medium heat until rice is completely cooked, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add the 1/4 cup sugar and vanilla-stir. Place in an 8x8 cake pan or similar sized dish and refrigerate, until cool. Place strawberries, 3 tsp of sugar and cornstarch in saucepan an stir to remove cornstarch lumps, heat over medium heat until thickened. Poor over cooled pudding.

Serving Size: approx 8 half cup servings
