Number of Servings: 15


    * Beans, pinto, 2 cups dry
    * Beans, red kidney, 2 cups dry
    * Canned Tomatoes, 2 can
    *Cumin seed, 2 tbsp
    * Chili powder, 4 tbsp
    * one onion
    * Garlic, 2 tbsp chopped
    * Ground Turkey, 1 unit, yield from 1 lb raw


Soak all beans 6 hours or more. Cook on low in crockpot overnight. Check to make sure beans are fully cooked before adding additional ingredients. Add two cans chopped tomatoes, 6 cloves garlic (I used two heaping tablespoons of chopped garlic), cumin and chili powder. Brown turkey and onion in a fry pan on the stove. Drain well. Add to crock pot. Cook on high for several hours or until flavors are mixed through.
