Introduction

Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    *Garlic powder, 1 tsp
    *Garlic, 3 clove
    *Pepper, black, 1 dash
    *Sesame Oil, 1 tbsp
    *Broccoli, fresh, 1 bunch
    *Carrots, raw, 1 small (5-1/2" long)
    *Peppers, sweet, red, raw, sliced, 1 cup
    *Onions, raw, 1 small
    *Cabbage, fresh, 2 cup, chopped
    *Tofu, firm, 1 block
    *Water, tap, 4 fl oz
    *Oyster Sauce, 2 tbsp
    *Brown Rice, long grain, 1 cup

Directions

**Cook brown rice according to package directions first**

Prep:
*coarsely chop 3 cloves garlic
*slice 1 small onion
*coarsely chop 1 bunch of broccoli
*slice 1 medium carrot at a slant
*slice 1 cup sweet red pepper
*coarsely chop 2 cups fresh cabbage
*strain 1 block Tofu, then cut in to 1/2 inch strips

Cook:
Heat sesame oil and add onions and fresh garlic. Stir fry until onions are translucent. Add fresh broccoli and cabbage, stirring occassionally. Season with garlic powder and black pepper to taste. Add 2 fl. oz. of water and remaining vegetables. Add 2 tbsp. of oyster sauce and remaining 2 fl. oz. of water and stir until oyster sauce has mixed well with all ingredients. Add firm tofu the last minute or two of cooking time and cover. Take pan off heat and stir before serving.

**Serve over 1 cup brown rice**

    My first instinct was to add more sauce (I substituted soy for oyster) but I just let it cook and the vegetables produced an amazing flavor. Delicious!
