Ingredients

    .5 cup Flaxseed
4 tbsp Chia Seed (Nutiva) 1 Tbsp
    .5 tsp Salt
    1.5 tsp Garlic powder
.5 cup (8 fl oz) Water, tap
4 tbsp Kal Nutritional Yeast Flakes

Tips

Make sure the thickness is uniform around the edges or the thin parts will burn and the thick parts will be soft.

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Grind flax, then grind chia in a coffee grinder until finely ground but not sticky (or use pre-ground seeds). Put ground seeds in small bowl, and stir in salt and garlic powder. Add nutritional yeast flakes to measuring cup with water and stir to dissolve. Add water/yeast to seed mixture and stir quickly to combine. Mixture will be sticky. Spoon on to cookie sheet covered with sprayed parchment paper. Spray wax paper and place on top of mixture. Pat down, then roll with rolling pin until 1/8 in thick. Remove wax paper. Bake 15-18 min until dry. When cool and crisp, break into pieces.
