Ingredients
-
1 dash Salt
1 tbsp Agave Nectar, Light
1 clove Garlic, grated
1/8 tsp Black Pepper (Ground)
2 tsp Grey Poupon Dijon Mustard
1/2 cup Lemon Juice (FRESH! None of that bottle stuff)
1/2 cup Olive Oil
Tips
Since lemon is the only acid and primary flavor, take the time to juice some lemons, instead of using bottled stuff. I got this from about 4 lemons, but it will vary.
I always make my dressings "light" by doing a 1-1 ratio. Traditional vinaigrettes are 3-1 (oil-vinegar). If you find this too acidic feel free to play with it, but remember adding oil changes the nutrition a lot.
Also, all garlic lovers take care- if you're going to let the dressing sit around for a few days, the garlic flavor will grow.
If you don't like too much garlic, you can swap 2tsp of garlic powder for a milder flavor.
Directions
Combine all ingredients in a jar with a tight fitting lid. Shake till you can't shake no more.
Keeps well in the fridge, but the oil can solidify, so take it out when you start prepping. It'll go back to liquid at room temperature.
