Ingredients

6 thigh, bone and skin removed Chicken Thigh
1 1/2 cup Onion
1 cup tomato
2 tsp (C) Garlic, minced (by SHEILAHARVILLE)
1 tsp ginger minced (by MOMMA371)
1 tsp Cumin seed
1.5 tbsp Crisco Pure Vegetable Oil
.5 tsp Turmeric, ground
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp chilli powder (by CYMRUGIRL1)
.5 tsp Garam Masala (by CHIIEDDY)
3 tsp fenugreek (by CHEEKYCHOOK)
2-2 1/2 cups water
Directions
Add oil to a pot, let it heat on medium heat
Add cumin seeds, saute for 20-30 seconds, do not stop stirring
Add onions, cook until golden brown
Add tomatoes and garlic, cook for 2-3 minutes
Add spices, cook for about 2-3 minutes
Add splash of water, saute until water evaporates. Repeat this step until half a cup of water has been used.
Add ginger, saute for 1-2 minutes.
Add chicken thighs, cook for 1-2 minutes.
Add water. 2 cups for certain, but depends on how thin you want the sauce to be so you can add the other half cup.
Cover the pot and cook on medium or low heat for 15-20 minutes or until the chicken is thoroughly cooked.
