Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    Thinly slice or shred red cabbage, one cup or more. Microwave (covered) for 4 minutes on high to wilt then rinse in cold water.

    Shred the apple - skin on - or cut in thin julienne.

    Drain and rinse the beets, cut into thin strips.

    Combine all in a bowl along with honey, lime juice and cloves. Add more honey or lime to suit your taste.

    Marinate at least one hour.
