Ingredients

    1 medium tomato, diced
    1/2 medium onion, diced
    3 cloves garlic, minced
    5 basil leaves, shredded
    1 Tbsp. olive oil
    1/2 Tbsp. red wine
    1/2 Tbsp. oregano
    salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Mix all ingredients together, cover and marinate for 30 minutes. Toss with pasta or add to the top of a whole wheat pita with mozzarella cheese for pizza. Also makes good bruschetta topping.
