Introduction

Great basic quiche!! You can anything you please to make it even more pleasing! Great basic quiche!! You can anything you please to make it even more pleasing!
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 Pilsbury pie shell
    3 large eggs
    1/2 cup milk
    1/2 cup half and half (cream is great, too)
    1/4 lb longhorn cheddar cheese, shredded
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 lb ground sausage (chicken, bacon, ham, spinach, broccoli, mushrooms...)

Directions

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Beat eggs to mix and stir in milk, 1/2 and 1/2, salt and pepper. Sprinkle half of the cheese on the bottom of the pie shell, cover that with the accompaniments of you choosing, poor in egg/milk mixture and top with remaining cheese. Bake at 350deg until puffed and golden; 45 to 60 minutes.

Serves 8 individual slices, which usually turns into only 4 people polishing it off at my house!!
