Ingredients

    1 small onion (chopped)
    1/2 cup mushrooms (sliced)
    1 pound extra lean ground beef
    4 wheat hamburger buns

Directions

In a large bowl, combine the chopped onions and the ground beef. Mold 4 hamburger patties out of the beef/onion mixture. Cook the patties on a large skillet on the stove, on the grill, or on a fat-reducing grilling machine.

In a separate small skillet, add a tiny bit of oil and the mushrooms. Cook the mushrooms to the desired softness.

Toast the hamburger buns. Put the cooked patties on the buns, and place the mushrooms on top of the meat. Enjoy!

Makes 4 hamburgers.
