Ingredients

1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp olive oil
1 clove of garlic, minced
1 1/2 cups fat free chicken or vegetable broth
1 tbsp chopped fresh basil
2 tsp capers
1 tsp lemon rind
3 tbsp lemon juice
salt and pepper
12 oz linguine
1 pound salmon fillet, skin removed and cut into 4 pieces
2-3 tbsp whole wheat flour to thicken sauce
Directions
Preheat broiler. Coat a broiler pan with non-stick spray.
Warm the butter and oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook for 2 minutes. Stir in the broth, basil, capers, lemon rind, and 2 tbsps lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper, and then add flour. Reduce the heat to low and cook for 5 minutes.
Cook the pasta in a large pot of boiling water according to the package directions. Drain and place in a large bowl.
Place the salmon on a prepared pan. Sprinkle with the remaining 1 tbsp lemon juice. Broil 4 inch from heat for 5 minutes per side or until fish flakes when tested with a fork.
Place fish on a serving of pasta and then pour sauce over both.
