Ingredients

    *Lean Ground Sirloin 10% Fat, 24 oz (remove)
    Cabbage, fresh, 8 cup, shredded (remove)
    tomato juice low sodium Campbells, 4 cup (remove)
    Diced Tomatoes Canned No salt added (whole can), 14.5 oz (remove)
    Wild Rice, .75 cup (remove)
    Onions, raw, 2 cup, sliced (remove)
    add 2 bay leaf, 1 serving (remove)
    Thyme, ground, .5 tsp (remove)
    Garlic, 2 cloves minced (remove)
    Pepper, black, .75 tsp (remove)
    Salt, .5 tsp (remove)
    3 to 4 cups water, 1 serving (remove)

Directions

Makes approximately 14 1-cup servings

Saute onion hamburger and 2 cups cabbage in 6 qt. pan until caramelized then add garlic. Add diced tomatoes simmer 5 min. add tomatoe juice, two cups water, spices, and cabbage. Heat on high and add rice. Immediately turn down to med and simmer for 1 hour add water as needed.
