Introduction

This is a twist on a traditional Mexican summer treat. I've cut out the sugar, but none of the flavor. You can use seltzer for and added fizz that takes it over the top. Ingredients

    3 cups fresh (or thawed frozen, sugar free) Strawberries
    1/2 cup splenda
    2 quarts cold water (or 2 liters plain seltzer)
    1 tsp lemon juice (fresh is best)

Directions

place berries in a 2 quart pitcher. Mash them unitl small and juices are released. Add splenda and lemon. Stir and let sit for five minutes. Add water or seltzer and stir. Serve and enjoy!
Makes aprox. 8 to 10 servings of 6 to 8 ounces.
