Introduction
Simple corn bread recipe passed down by my mother. Simple corn bread recipe passed down by my mother.Number of Servings: 9
Ingredients

1 cup Yellow Cornmeal
1 cup Flour, white
4 tsp Baking Powder
.5 tsp Salt
3 Tbls packed Brown Sugar
2 large Egg, fresh, whole, raw
1 cup Milk, 1%
4 tbsp Great Value Vegetable Oil (by CNHAY5)
Directions
Mix all the ingredients by hand in a bowl except for the eggs, milk and vegetable oil. Then mix stir in the beaten eggs, milk and oil just until it is all smoothed together. Spray cooking spray into a 9x9 baking pan and then pour the corn bread mixture into the pan.
Bake 22-25 minutes at 400 degrees.
Serve with butter, syrup or honey. O just serve it plain or a little butter.
