Ingredients

BATTER:
2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup mashed banana
2/3 cup buttermilk
2 eggs
1/4 cup oil
1-1/2 teaspoon vanilla
TOPPING:
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/3 cup sugar
1/4 cup quick oatmeal (not instant)
2 teaspoons flour
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 tablespoon melted butter
Directions
1. Preheat the oven to 350. Spray a 9 x 13 pan with nonstick spray.
2. In a large mixing bowl, mix together the sugar, flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda. Then add the mashed banana, buttermilk, eggs, oil, and vanilla.
3. Spread batter into the prepared pan.
4. Make topping: Mix together the 1/3 cup sugar, flour, cinnamon, nuts, oatmeal. Then mix in the melted butter. Sprinkle topping over the batter in the pan.
5. Place pan in the 350 oven and bake for 40 minutes.
6. Cut into 18 pieces. (3 lengthwise, 6 crosswise).
