Ingredients
-
0.25 cup Honey
100 gram(s) Chocolate, dark, 72%, Ghirardelli Intense Dark Twilight Delight
1 tbsp Coconut Oil
1 cup, whole Almonds
140 gram Nut Harvest - Whole Cashews
8 tbsp Shredded Coconut Unsweetened (Bob's Red Mill)
2 tbsp Poppy seed
0.25 tsp Salt
Tips
I like using organic chocolate that contains candied orange peels.
You can either cut into 8 bars or approximately 40 squares.
Directions
1. Melt chocolate with coconut oil and honey.
2. Put the almonds and cashews in a food processor and pulse until rough chopped. Add the coconut and pulse a few more times, being careful not to over chop. Transfer to a bowl and add the salt and the melted chocolate mixture. Mix well.
3. Line a square baking sheet with parchment paper. Press the mixture into the pan with your fingers or the back of a soup spoon. Chill the pan in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours until firm. Cut into bars or squares and store in an airtight container. Keep in the refrigerator.
