Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1 beaten egg
    1/4 cup skim milk
    1/4 cup chopped green onions (2)
    1 Tblsp snipped fresh dill or 1 tsp dried dill
    1/4 tsp black pepper
    1 - 14 3/4-ounce can salmon, drained, flaked, and skin & bones removed
    1/4 cup fine dry bread crumbs
    1 Tblsp. cooking oil

Directions

In a medium bowl combine the egg, milk, green onions, dill, and pepper. Add salmon and bread crumbs; mix well. Form mixture into eight 1/2-inch-thick patties. In a large skillet cook patties in hot oil over medium-low heat about 6 minutes or until golden brown, turning once. If desired, serve with tarter sauce.

    I made these and they taste wonderful but I am questioning the number of servings as 4 and sodium of 85 mg. The can says it serves 7 and the sodium says 240 mg per serving. Something seems off. - 2/17/11

    Very good recipe. I used 1/2 tsp of pepper rather than 1/4 tsp. I also increased the bread crumbs to 1/2 cup. This recipe is just as I remember as a child. Yum Yum!!! - 11/13/08

    i really liked this. a little too much pepper though. took me back 30 yrs to when my mom made these. - 1/26/10
