Introduction

a great way to use left-over rice and a fantastically new and different way to eat your eggs and bacon! a great way to use left-over rice and a fantastically new and different way to eat your eggs and bacon!

Ingredients

    4 slices Center Cut Bacon
    1 tbsp Toasted Sesame Oil
    3 Green Onions, thinly sliced
    3 cup Day-Old, Cooked Basmati Rice
    0.33 cups Kikkoman Low Sodium Soy Sauce
    1 tbsp Seasoned Rice Vinegar
    1 tbsp Sesame Seeds
    1 tsp Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
    4 large Eggs

Directions

in large , heavy skillet, fry bacon. Remove bacon from skillet and drain on paper towel. once cool, crumble or roughly chop and set aside.

in same skillet add green onion, sesame seeds, and red pepper flakes to bacon grease. cook for 2-3 minutes.

Add rice (break up large clumps), vinegar, soy sauce, and crumbled bacon to skillet. cook until heated through. approx. 5 minutes.

In another skillet, heat sesame oil until shimmering and fry eggs as you like. i like a soft center so that the yolk blends in with the rice dish.

Serve immediately

Serving Size: 3/4 cup of fried rice and one egg
