Super easy and quick...great recipe to make with the kids. Super easy and quick...great recipe to make with the kids.
Number of Servings: 4


    4 medium apples, peeled, cored, and chopped
    1/2 cup of water
    1 tsp vanilla extract
    1/4 cup of sugar
    1/4 tsp ea of cinnamon and nutmeg


Makes aprox. 2 cups (4- 1/2cup servings). Serve either hot or cold.

Peel, core, and slice apples. Place in a large sauce pan with water and vanilla. Cover and bring to a boil...after mixture reaches a boil, reduce heat to low and simmer over low heat for aprox 20 minutes, stirring occassionally. Stir in sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg and cook until it dissolves.

Mash with potato masher or blender for desired consistancy.
