Ingredients

    1 1/2 cups chopped breast, bone and skin removed Chicken Breast (cooked), no skin, roasted
    3 1/2 cups Simply Nature Organic Chicken Broth Low Sodium
    1 cup, diced Celery, raw
    1/3 cup sliced Onion
    1/2 cup sliced carrots
    0.33 cup Wild Rice
    0.5 tsp Thyme, ground
    2 Tbsp. Butter, salted
    3 Tbsp. All Purpose Unbleached Flour (by CAMBRIA94)
    1 cup Half and Half Cream

Directions

Mix broth,carrots,celery,onion, rice and thyme in a 6 quart pan. Bring to a boil; reduce heat, cover and simmer 1 hour or until rice is tender.
In a small pan melt butter, stir in flour, then the cream. Cook and stir one minute.
Slowly add cream mixture to the rice mixture, stirring constantly. Stir in the chicken and heat through.

Serving Size: Makes 4 1-cup servings
