Ingredients

    2 tbsp soy sauce
    2 tbsp water
    1/2 tsp salt
    1 tbsp light or dark brown sugar
    2 tbsp olive oil
    1 tbsp chopped garlic
    2 tbsp chopped fresh ginger root
    1 lb of chicken breasts, cut into 1 inch pieces
    2 tbsp green onion, chopped
    cooked brown rice

Directions

Combine soy sauce, water, salt and brown sugar in small bowl. Set aside.

Heat oil in a wok. Cook garlic and ginger for about 15 seconds, until fragrant. Add chicken and cook until done.

Pour sauce around sides of pan. Add green onion. Combine well. Serve over brown rice.

    Very tasty. Double the sauce recipie if you like more to drizzle over your vegetables. In the last few minutes add brocolli or zuchinni. Cover and steam briefly so vegetables are still crunchy. - 8/5/08
