Ingredients

1.333 cup Granulated Sugar
5 tbsp Cocoa, dry powder, unsweetened
6 tbsp Butter - Smart Balance Omega Light
.5 cup Milk, nonfat (skim milk)
20 tbsp Adams 100% Natural Peanut Butter - Crunchy
12 serving Old Fashioned Quaker Oatmeal- Plain (1/2 cup dry)
78 gram(s) Bob's Red Mill - Chia seeds - 1Tbsp=13g
3 cup (8 fl oz) Water, tap
1 cup (not packed) Raisins
Directions
Soak Chia Seeds in a separate bowl and try varying the water amount vs no soaking.
Add sugar, cocoa powder, butter, and milk and bring to a rolling boil for one minute. (Leave out cocoa powder for a non chocolate alternative.)
Add in the peanut butter, raisins & vanilla extract if desired,
Add chia seeds
Add oatmeal
Scoop out onto cookie sheet lined with waxed paper, if desired.
We recycle the heavy plastic from the inside of packaged boxed cereals because it is very easy to open it at the seams to make a large flat service.
