Ingredients

    1 package taco seasoning
    1 lb 80/20 ground beef chuck
    3/4 cup water
    2 tbsp Tastefully Simple- Simply Salsa Mix
    1/2 large head Iceberg Lettuce (salad)
    3/4 cup cheese - shredded taco cheese
    3/4 cup Pace Original Picante Sauce - Mild
    1/3 cup Daisy Light Sour Cream
    3 serving Corn chips, Fritos (1 serving = 1oz., 28g/about 32 chips)

Tips

You can substitute ground turkey or a higher % of ground beef. Also, you could add scallions and tomato, or even different types of salsa to dress it up.


Directions

Brown ground chuck (or meat), then drain. Return to pan. Mix in taco seasoning, Simply Salsa Mix, and water. Bring to boil, then reduce heat and let simmer for 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Remove from heat.

Chop lettuce, then separate onto three plates. Separate taco mixture onto top of lettuce. Top with cheese, picante sauce, sour cream, and corn chips.
