Ingredients

    # *Whole Wheat Flour, 1.25 cup (remove)
    # *Flour, white, 1.25 cup (remove)
    # Cinnamon, ground, 1 tsp (remove)
    # Baking Powder, 1 tsp (remove)
    # *Margarine, soft, 6 tsp (remove)
    # Brown Sugar, .5 cup, packed (remove)
    # *Motts Natural Apple Sauce, .5 cup (remove)
    # Soy Milk, 1 cup (remove)
    # *Dark Corn Syrup, 2 tbsp (remove)
    # Egg, fresh, 1 medium (remove)
    # Dates, .5 cup, pitted, chopped (remove)
    # *Nuts, hazelnuts or filberts, blanched, .5 oz

Directions

Sift dry ingredients together, rub in margerine and add fruit.
Mix wet ingredients together and add to dry. Combine but only until just together. Do not over mix or the muffins end up tough.
Fill lined muffin tin to make 9. Cook at 180 degrees celsius for 18 to 22 mins.
