Introduction

The ginger adds a little pizzazz to the yummy peach flavor. The strawberries and pineapple should be frozen to give the smoothie texture and make it nice and cold.

Note: I used fresh ginger root, not ground ginger. If using ground ginger, adjust the amount to taste.

Ingredients

    1 C Yogurt (lowfat)
    1 peach, sliced (with skin)
    1/4 tsp fresh ginger (about 1/4" cube)
    5 strawberries, halved, frozen
    4 chunks of Pineapple, frozen
    1/2 C Milk, 1%
    1 packet Splenda

Directions

Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Drink up!
