Ingredients

    1.75 cup Chickpeas (garbanzo beans)
    1.5 cup Cannellini Beans White Kidney Beans Bushs
    1.75 cup Del Monte Diced Tomatoes, No Salt Added
    0.5 cup Tomato Paste
    0.5 cup (8 fl oz) Water, tap
    2 tbsp Garlic powder
    2 tbsp Onion powder
    4 tbsp Tahini
    2 tsp Pepper, black
    1 tsp Salt
    0.35 cup Granulated Sugar

Tips

This base recipe works on its own, but you can add pureed garlic or avocado, or other flavors to spruce it up.


Directions

Boil chickpeas and canellini beans, and drain. Add tomato, tomato paste and water, tahini and all spices to your taste. Bring back to a light boil, then blend until smooth. Allow to cool before serving.
