Introduction
Classic, delicious. From Quaker. Classic, delicious. From Quaker.Number of Servings: 75
Ingredients
-
1 cup Butter
1 cup, packed Brown Sugar
1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
2 large Eggs
2 oz Milk, 2%
2 tsp Vanilla Extract
1.5 cup Flour, white
1 tsp Baking Soda
.5 tsp Salt
2.5 cup Oats, Quaker (1 cup dry oats)
1 pkg (270 g) Milk chocolate chips (2 c)
Tips
Cookie scoop is great for these! Makes uniform cookies so they bake evenly. Also can substitute dark chocolate chips.
Directions
Soften then cream butter (or margarine) with sugars in a large bowl.
Combine eggs, milk and vanilla then beat into above.
Sift or whisk dry and add to above, stir in well.
Last, stir in oats and chocolate chips.
If desired, add a cup of chopped nuts (not calculated)
Bake 375 for 9-12 minutes until just starting to brown. Time depending if you prefer a chewy cookie (less time) and size of cookie. I do 8-9 minutes with small cookies made with a cookie scoop.
Cool on a rack. Made about 5 trays of 15 cookies. (75)
Serving Size: Makes about 75 small cookies.
Number of Servings: 75
