Introduction
This is a great low fat dip with lots of flavor!Serve with chips (not in nutrtional data) or use it as spread to sanwiches, rollups, etc.
If you don't like things spicy start with less red pepper. if you like it really spicy (like me!!) add alot more!!! This is a great low fat dip with lots of flavor!

Ingredients
-
1 can garbanzo beans
1 can black beans (or you can use dried and soaked overnight)
1 tsp red pepper flakes
1/2 tsp cumin
2 TBS tahini
2 cloves of garlic, roughly chopped
juice of 1-2 lemons
salt/pepper to taste
Directions
Serving size is aprox 2 TBS.
•Drain and rinse both cans of beans
•Put beans, garlic, spices, tahini and aprox 1/4 cup of the lemon juice into a food processor. Using the pulse function process until smooth
•Taste and correct the seasoning, adding more if need.
•if hummus is too dry add more lemon juice or use plain water
NOTES:
•I think it tastes better if you let it sit for at least 30 minutes which is why the "cooking" time is noted that way. After 30 minutes taste again, adjust the seasonings again if desired
•This keeps for 3-4 day if covered tight and refrigerated
