Introduction

Ingredients

    1/2 head medium green cabbage, roughly chopped
    1/2 medium onion, roughly chopped
    2 tablespoons unsalted butter
    1/2 cup chicken stock (I use Kitchen Basics)
    Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Melt butter in large sauté pan. Add onion and cook until carmelized. Remove onion to separate dish. Add cabbage to pan along with stock, increase heat, and boil until stock is mostly absorbed. Add onions back to the pan and mix together until combined. Add a bit more butter if necessary and salt and pepper to taste.
