Ingredients

3 tsp instant dry yeast
1 1/2 cups warm water
2 tbsp Granulated Sugar
4 cups all-purpose Flour (Used 3 cups, kneaded with 4th cup flour)
1 tsp Salt
1/4 cup butter, melted
2 tsp Baking Soda
Directions
Combine yeast, water and sugar. Add flour and salt and knead until smooth. Place in greased bowl and let rise in warm place for 30 mins. Line baking sheet with parchment paper. Divide dough into 8 equal sections and roll into a rope about 24 inches long. Form into pretzel shape. Submerge each pretzel in 1 cup water and baking soda prior to placing on baking sheet. Sprinkle with a little salt or seasoning. Let pretzels rest for 5-10 mins. Bake for 15 minutes, or until golden brown. Brush each hot pretzel with butter immediately after removing from oven.
