Introduction

This is a great appetizer but my family loves it as a main dish. I make it with the drumette portions of the wings. It's a little high in Sodium but I use the Low Sodium Soy Sauce and it cuts it down about 35%. This is a great appetizer but my family loves it as a main dish. Ingredients

    3 Pounds Chicken Wings
    1 cup Salsa
    1 cup Honey
    1/3 cup Soy Sauce
    1/4 cup Dijon Mustard
    3 TBSP Canola Oil
    2 TBSP Ginger
    1/2 tsp Grated Orange Peel

Directions

Cut off and discard the wing tips of each wing. Place in 13x9 baking dish. Combine Salsa, Honey, Soy Sauce, Mustard, Oil, Ginger and Orange Peel in bowl. Mix well. Pour over chicken wings. Cover and refrigerate at least 6 hours or overnight.

Preheat oven to 400. Place chicken wings and sauce in a single layer on a foil-lined 15x10 inch jelly roll pan. Bake 40-45 minutes or until brown. Serve warm with additional salsa if desired.
