Introduction

The BEST homemade lemonade! So very refreshing!! The BEST homemade lemonade! So very refreshing!!
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1/4 TBSP lemon zest
    1 cup (Approx 5 whole) lemon juice with pulp
    1 cup Sugar
    1/2 cup water

Directions

1. Zest 1/4 TBSP of yellow part of lemon peel, making sure to not use the white pith
2. Juice lemons keeping pulp, ensure no seeds in juice.
3. In a saucepan combine water and sugar. Cook until all sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat, add lemon juice.
4. Pour into a freezer safe container, place in freezer.
5. Approx every hour, remove from freezer and scrape with a fork. Will freeze to a slush consistency.
6. For lemonade add 2 Tablespoons of lemon mixture to 8 oz. of water.
7. Have 4 TBSP alone in a bowl as a nice light treat.
