Ingredients

    Chickpeas (garbanzo beans), 1 can
    Onions, raw, .5 cup, chopped
    Celery, raw, .5 cup, diced
    Cucumber (with peel), 1/2 cup chopped
    Sweet peppers (bell), .25 cup, chopped
    Smart Balance light mayonnaise, 2 tbsp
    Kraft Tuscan House Italian dressing and marinade, 2 tbsp
    dill herb blend, Gourmet Garden, 3 tsp
    1 tsp. dill seed
    1/4 cup dry roasted almonds

Directions

Drain chickpeas. Add onions, celery, cucumber, and bell pepper. Toss lightly. Chop almonds very fine. In a separate bowl, combine mayonnaise, dressing, dill blend, dill seed, and almonds. Mix well, then pour over salad. Toss again, and refrigerate, tightly sealed. Allow to chill at least two hours, or overnight.
Makes four one cup servings.
