Introduction

Grilled Salmon with a Honey Pepper Sauce Grilled Salmon with a Honey Pepper Sauce
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    8-4oz Salmon Fillets (no skin)
    1/2 cup honey
2 Tbsp low sodium soy sauce
    2 Tbsp brown sugar
    1/4 cup orange juice
    2 Tbsp rice vinegar
    2 Tbsp olive oil
    1 tsp ground black pepper
    1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
    1/2 tsp paprika
    1/4 tsp garlic powder

Directions

Preheat grill to med heat.
Meanwhile combine all ingredients except for salmon in a medium saucepan over med/low heat. Stir occasionally until sauce begins to boil, then simmer for 15 min or until thickened. Watch closely so it does not boil over. Remove from heat.
Rub each fillet with olive oil or spray grill with high heat cooking spray. Grill for 4 to 7 min per side or until done. Baste fillets with sauce on each side about 1 min before done. Serve remaining sauce on the side.

This was really good. My boyfriend who usually just tolerates fish every once in a while actually liked this! This means we're going to have it again! - 8/18/09
