Ingredients

    2 cups Campbell's 25% less salt Chicken Broth
    3 Apples, peeled, cored and sliced
    1 tsp Grey Poupon Dijon Mustard
    1/2 tsp Caraway Seed, ground in mortar/pestal
    300 grams Savoy Cabbage, shredded
    1/2 large onion, sliced
    4 Pork Chops - centre cut - boneless - 100 grams each (raw)
    1 cup unsweetened apple sauce
    Flour, whole grain, 30 grams (remove)
    Spices of your choice


Directions

Brown onions and add to Crock Pot with sliced apples, apple sauce, cabbage, mustard and crushed caraway seeds.

Dredge pork chops in 1 tbsp flour that you have seasoned with your favorite spices (I use Mrs. Dash). Cook 1 minute each side in hot pan until browned. Add to top of mixture in Crock Pot.

Cover and cook 4 hours on high.

    Incredible!
    Made it almost exactly as written and it was great. I just skipped the flour and was out of chicken broth so used beef broth instead. Also, I ground the caraway seeds in my magic bullet mini food processor. The apples end up a similar texture to the cabbage, and give it a hearty flavor. - 8/18/15
